MOTU Symphonic and Ethno Instrument standalone applications and Mac OS X 10.4.9
After updating an Intel-based Mac to OS X 10.4.9, the standalone applications for MOTU Symphonic Instrument and MOTU Ethno Instrument may unexpectedly quit when they are launched. This has been confirmed by PACE to occur with any PACE-protected application on an Intel-based Mac that has been updated to OS X 10.4.9 using Software Update. This does not affect PowerPC-based Macs or Intel-based Macs that have been updated using an OS X 10.4.9 update installer that was downloaded from Apple’s website.
Users of Intel-based Macs who have already updated to OS X 10.4.9 using Software Update can remedy this by downloading and running the OS X 10.4.9 Combo Updater for Intel-based Macs, which is available from Apple’s website.
