FaderPort – Why doesn’t my motorized fader respond to volume automation?
The high-quality Alps fader on the FaderPort requires a full 9V to power the motot properly. Because of this, the motor function is only available when your unit is powered via the external power supply that came with your FaderPort. The motorized fader is inactive while being powered via USB.
