My Avid S3 is not communicating with my computer.
The Avid S3 controller needs to be plugged directly in to your computer’s Ethernet port in order for it to function properly. It cannot be on a switch connected to a network.
You also cannot combine the S3 with Artist series controller other than the Artist Transport. In that case, you can connect an S3 and one Artist Transport to a switch. If anything else is connected, you will experience communication errors.
