Why am I getting a “recorded sample was too short” error after recording a several-minute-long recording in Cubase on PC Windows?
The problem is more than likely not the length of your recording but some type of hardware or software conflict. You should optimize your PC and check for IRQ conflicts, make sure DMA is enabled on your IDE hard drives, and turn off background programs.
