I purchased a Pro Tools 11 upgrade from Pro Tools LE. During the activation process, it’s asking me for the serial number for my interface but it’s not being accepted.
In order to successfully upgrade your Pro Tools LE software to Pro Tools 11, you need you provide the serial number for the interface that was originally bundled with your copy of Pro Tools LE. Your interface also needs to be qualified to work with Pro Tools 11. Some older Digidesign interfaces like the original Mbox or the 001 will not work and therefore will not allow you to successfully upgrade.
If your interface was manufactured by M-Audio, be sure that you actually have Pro Tools LE and not Pro Tools M-Powered.
If you come across either of these issues, you have purchased the wrong Pro Tools upgrade for your needs and will need to contact your Sweetwater Sales Engineer to make the exchange for the correct upgrade.
