How do I save a pattern on my Korg Electribe Sampler?

There are two ways to save a pattern on the Electribe Sampler:

Overwriting a pattern:

1. Press the Write button
2. Select the save location using the Value knob
3. Press the Write button again. The display will show that is “Working” and the write process will begin. The Write button will be illuminated during the write process, and will go dark when complete.

Saving with a different pattern name (copying pattern):

1. Press and hold the Shift button, then press the Write button
2. The display will show “enter NAME.” Change the name of the pattern by using the < or > buttons to change the character, and the value knob to change the selected character. Confirm with the Menu/Enter button.
3. Select a pattern number to save your new pattern using the Value knob
4. Press the Write button after you complete the process of changing the pattern name. The write process will begin and the Write button will be illuminated, then go dark when finished.
