Waves has announced two new plug-ins, comprising the new Hybrid line, which combine “the best of yesterday’s sound with today’s technology.” The H-Delay produces PCM42-style effects, with up to 3,500ms delay time, analog character modes, infinite feedback, LFO-controlled pitch modulation, LoFi mode, tap tempo, and fulll MIDI support. H-Comp is a dynamics processor based on modeled transformers, tubes, and circuitry, with analog-modeled release behavior, parallel compression, transient pass-through, BPM-sync release, analog character modes, limiter and clipper modes, sidechain, and more. The Hybrid series supports Mac and Windows, with VST, RTAS, AU, and TDM formats available.
