We just received the latest additions to Yamaha extremely popular and incredibly cool line of PSR portable keyboards. The PSR-350 and the PSR-550 are very affordable – just like their siblings – and include a great new Music Database feature that allows you to set up the parameters of the whole keyboard simply by selecting a song title from the keyboard’s lengthy menu of songs. You also get fantastic sounds, MIDI capability and a floppy disk drive for recording and playing back songs.
Yamaha is readying the AG Stomp, the world’s first acoustic guitar preamplifier to feature microphone modeling. The AG Stomp includes Yamaha’s proprietary Acoustic Microphone Modeling (AMM) technology, so you can transform the output of ordinary piezo and magnetic pickups-or even built-in mics-into the sounds of world-class microphones. The AG Stomp emulates eight microphone types, including condenser, dynamic and tube (in close and distant proximities), for a natural acoustic/electric tone.
