TC Electronic announced that its popular PowerCore software has been upgraded to Version 2.0, and that all PowerCore users are eligible for this free upgrade which includes a number of helpful improvements to the graphic interface, as well as demo versions of the PowerCore plug-ins. The interface design has been tweaked to provide an overview of both CPU power and RAM, as well as the status of all PowerCore devices running on the system, including plug-in licenses.
Once you upgrade to PowerCore 2.0, you’ll be able to try out fully functional, limited-time versions of a number of optional TC plug-ins, which will be included with the installer in all future versions of PowerCore. This will greatly simplify the download procedure when purchasing optional plug-ins. With PowerCore 2.0, users will also be able to transfer any licensed plug-ins between PowerCore units. TC Electronic points out that only PowerCore FireWire, Compact, mkII and Unplugged users will be able to benefit from the trial version and license transfer facilities of version 2.0.
