Why does my TASCAM DP-32 keep powering off?
By default, the DP-32 will power itself down after a 30 minutes of inactivity. This is adjustable in the settings menu. Your choices are:
- Off
- 3 minutes
- 5 minutes
- 10 minutes
- 30 minutes (default).
To change this:
- Press the Menu button
- Use the Jog/Data wheel or the cursor buttons to select PREFERENCE, then press the F4 button.
- Use the cursor buttons to select Auto Power Save, then use the Jog/Date wheel to change the settings.
Note: restoring your DP-32 to factory default will reset the Auto Power Save setting to 30 minutes. The Auto Power Save function is disabled under the following conditions:
- during playback or recording
- when the metronome is in use
- when the record function is ON
- when a signal is output from the STEREO OUT
