When I open Melodyne in Pro Tools, there is no transfer button.
You probably have Melodyne open as a Rewire device. When you do this, Melodyne and Pro Tools run independently of each other, meaning Melodyne is essentially running in standalone via Melodyne Single Track. You will not see a transfer mode in Melodyne Single Track.
To make use of the transfer function, open Melodyne as a plug-in in Pro Tools instead of a Rewire device. It is located in the “Other” category.
