Weak or no signal from line outputs on Focusrite Saffire Pro

If you’re having an issue with weak or no signal from your Focusrite Saffire Pro, there are a couple of things you should try:

  1. Is the monitor knob on the front of the device up? On the Saffire Pro 40, this knob governs the Monitor Outputs on the back. On the smaller Saffire Pros, there is no section on the back labeled “Monitor Outputs,” but rather just Line Outs. The monitor knob on the smaller Saffire Pros governs Line Outs 1 and 2.
  2. In Saffire MixControl, make sure your outputs are set correctly. For more information on how to do this, refer to the Focusrite MixControl tutorial video below as well as the tutorial links listed below.
