The sequencer on my Arturia Microbrute will not start.
In the latest firmware update for the Microbrute, the sequencer is set to only run when it receives a gate signal to it’s Gate In on the back of the unit. You can set the sequencer to run on it’s own clock using the Microbrute Connection software.
- Download and install the Microbrute Connection software here if you have not already
- Connect the Microbrute to your computer and launch the app
- Set the “Step On” parameter at the top right to “Clk”
- Also be sure that the “Sync” parameter is not set to “EXT,” otherwise the sequencer will only start when it receives a MIDI start message.
