When I select “Video Out FireWire” from the Options menu with Pro Tools LE 7.3 on Windows XP I get an error that the device cannot be found. Page 99 of “What’s New In 7.3” states this is possible.
Page 99 of the “What’s New In 7.3” guide states that with Windows and Pro Tools LE 7.3 one can select “Video Out FireWire”. This is a misprint. Only Pro Tools HD (Mac and Win) and Pro Tools LE Mac support the use of FireWire video devices. Pro Tools LE 7.3 on Windows XP does not support the use of an external FireWire video device.
