Roland Controller makes my Modules “Cut Off” notes,even though I’m still stepping on the Sustain Pedal!
You can make your Modules or Keyboards immune to the All-Note-Off messages that Roland controllers like to send…(Roland keyboards insist on sending a lot of All-Notes-Off messages and many other brands of keyboards have trouble dealing with these messages). Go to the MIDI RECEIVE Page on your Module/Keyboard and change the parameter “AllNotesOff” from “Normal” or “on” to “Ignore” or “Off” .If your MIDI instrument cant ignore “all-note-off “messages, there are a variety of MIDI hardware devices, such as MIDI patch bays, that will filter these and other unneeded messages out.
