Reverb Foundry Software Activation Instructions
In this guide we will show you how to activate, download, and install your Reverb Foundry plug-in. Follow the sections below to get started.
Create an iLok account
Reverb Foundry plug-ins are licensed with iLok. That means to use it, you will need to activate its iLok license to your computer on your hard drive. If you don’t already have an iLok account, you’ll need to create one and install the iLok License Manager app. Follow the steps below to get started.
If you already have an iLok account, pass these steps, and continue to transfer the license to your computer. Learn more about iLok licensing in our iLok Setup Guide.
- Go to the iLok registration page and complete the registration form. Take note of your User ID and password.
- Open the iLok Account Activation email and click on the verification link.
- Download and install iLok License Manager.
- Launch the iLok License Manager app and sign in to your iLok account.
- (optional) Connect an iLok and when prompted, click Yes to register it to your account.

Transfer iLok license to your computer
You can activate your Reverb Foundry iLok license on either your computer’s hard drive or a portable iLok USB dongle. All you have to do is click and drag the license to the preferred location. Remember that you won’t be able to use your Reverb Foundry plug-ins unless their licenses are detected on the system. Learn more on our iLok Licenses and Activation Codes page.
- Launch the iLok Manager app and sign in.
- Click the “…I” button next to the search bar to view the activation prompt. Alternatively, click Licenses and then click Redeem Activation Code.
- Enter the iLok activation code provided by your Sweetwater Sales Engineer, then click Next.
- Click the Available tab, locate your license, and drag it to the computer icon in the iLok License Manager.
Download and install the plug-in
To install the Reverb Foundry plug-ins, you must download the installer file and then run it. Once installed, launch your DAW and insert the plug-ins onto a track.
- Go to the Reverb Foundry plug-in download page and download the installer for your OS.
- Navigate to your Downloads folder and launch the installer then follow the on-screen instructions to complete installation.
- Please take note of the folder it’s sent to as you’ll need to make sure that folder is in your DAW’s plug-in path.
- Launch your DAW, locate the plug-in, then add it to an effects slot on your track.

If you do not, interest will be charged on the promo balance from the purchase date. The estimated required monthly payment shown which excludes taxes and delivery equals the amount financed divided by the number of months in the promo period, rounded up to the next cent. During the last month(s) of the promo period the required monthly payment may be reduced due to this rounding. These payments apply only with the financing offer shown. If you make these payments by the due date each month, you should pay off this amount financed within the promo period, if it is the only balance you are paying off. If you have other balances on your account, this payment will be added to any other minimum monthly payments.
