My 500 series module is not passing any signal.
Your 500 series module may not be receiving enough power. This happens sometimes when the 500 series chassis you are using is being over-encumbered by some 500 series modules that are drawing too much current. Try removing some modules from your chassis to see if the module in question will receive power.
