Where to find your Toontrack Computer ID
IMPORTANT: To find your Toontrack computer ID, you must have the product installed on your computer.
In this guide we will show you how to find your Toontrack computer ID. Toontrack computer ID’s are only necessary for offline authorization. If your computer is connected to the internet, all you need to do is download and install Toontrack Product Manager. Once installed, no additional steps are required.
- Launch your Toontrack product, then click Offline Authorization. Your Toontrack Computer ID will be listed in the window that appears.
Offline authorization using your Toontrack computer ID
- Document your Computer ID, then log in to your Toontrack account on a computer with an internet connection.
- Click Register a Product, click Add computer, then enter the name of the computer the software is installed to (i.e., Studio Computer).
- Click Authorize Product, connect a USB thumb drive to your computer, then click the Download button located next to Authorization file.
- Transfer the authorization file to the USB thumb drive, connect it to the offline computer, then relaunch your Toontrack product.
- Click Offline Authorization once more, click Select in the Authorization file field, then navigate to where you placed the authorization file you downloaded.
- Click the green Authorization button to complete the process.
