Eleven Rack Editor is Crashing Windows 10
There have been recent reports of Avid’s Eleven Rack Editor software crashing Windows 10 computers running versions 2004 or above. This is due to an old version of iLok License Manager being hardcoded in the Eleven Rack Editor software. Before we move forward, we recommend making a backup of your files and folders.
- Uninstall iLok License Manager.
- Download the latest versions of the Eleven Rack Editor and driver.
- Download the latest version of iLok License Manager directly from the iLok License Manager website.
- Install the Eleven Rack Editor and driver BUT DO NOT RESTART WHEN PROMPTED.
- Install the latest version of iLok License Manager, and then reboot your computer.
