TO USE A HEAD CLEANER WITH THE DA88
1 – Unit off – press and hold “arrow up” and “arrow down” buttons while you power up.
CLEAning will flash in the display.
2- Insert cleaning tape and machine will automatically start cleaning and eject tape in about 15 sec.
WARNING: EACH time you use the cleaning tape you grind off 6 to 7 HOURS of head life.
DO NOT use the cleaning tape more than twice in a row. If two cleanings do
not solve the problem the unit must go to a tech.
