In CD Architect, the “Write CD Text” check box is grayed out.
Go into the Options menu in CD Architect and select Preferences. Then check the box next to “Overwrite CD Text Autodetection Results” in the General tab and press Apply and OK. Also, make sure that there is not a check next to “Skip Drive Database, Autodetect Drive Capabilities on Startup” in that same General tab.
If that does not help, below are a few other steps to try:
* Try another manufacturers brand of CDs.
* Update the firmware for the drive that you are using, at the manufacturer’s website. Or if the CD drive came pre-installed in the system, you may find the firmware update at the computer’s manufacturer’s website.
* Uninstall CD Architect 5.2, using the Add/Remove Programs utility in the control panel. Then re-install CD Architect 5.2.
