Why can’t I record on multiple midi tracks in Pro Tools?
First, make sure that each track’s input is set to a specific midi channel (not ALL or it will record all incoming midi to every track at the same time.) Then, check the outputs- the output port and channel on that port. Then, shift-click the Record Enable (REC) button on each track. (Audio tracks do not require the shift-click, but midi tracks do.)
