Ableton Live is hugely popular right now and so is M-Audio’s Axiom line of mobile USB MIDI controllers. Now the two companies have announced that Live will soon get an update that supports the 25-, 49-, and 61-key Axiom keyboards, which will automatically control many of Live’s most popular features via a built-in mapping function. This means your system will be fully customizable using the intuitive programming features of the Axiom line and M-Audio’s free Enigma software.
All Axiom keyboards feature semi-weighted action and assignable aftertouch, plus eight rubberized trigger pads that let you turn the Axiom into a real-time drum controller. Eight endless rotary encoder knobs let you tweak synth parameters, the virtual mixer controls, and more. There are also six transport controls that can be assigned to control other MIDI parameters.
