M-Audio M-Track Duo USB Audio Interface
M-Audio M-Track Duo USB Audio Interface Reviews
With the M-Audio M-Track Duo in your studio, making music is easier than ever before. The M-Track Duo comes equipped with two TRS/XLR combination Crystal preamps to facilitate exceptional recordings. While Sweetwater certainly loves the sound of the Crystal preamps, the M-Track Duo’s DI and versatile switching captures the pure signal of all your line- and instrument-level sources. What’s more, its ultra-compact footprint makes the Duo the perfect interface for creators who need to throw it in their laptop bag and dash out the door. Plus, the M-Audio M-Track Duo includes bundled software, so you can start recording immediately.
Outstanding Performance!
Outstanding product. The M-Audio M-Track Duo USB Audio Interface is the best I've ever used.

Works well
Good sound, works well. Bit weak on the amplification (as many have said) for a passive bass, but still more than sufficient. It just means that I have it turned up further than I'd have to for my prior m-audio (the FW-410).
Worked perfectly on Debian 12 with no additional steps or tweaks required, including the monitor. To use it with Bitwig did require a bit of poking around to figure out what did what, but that's more on Bitwig, as it exposes a whole *pile* of input methods for this device.

Easy hook up easy to use!! It did everything they said it would do. Would recommend to a friend.
Got it for recording bass drum & snare
I LOVE IT!
DO NOT BUY THIS!!!
I repeat, DO NOT BUY THIS!!! I bought this not even a year ago and I got the red lights of death today. No sound going in or coming out. You're better off spending your money elsewhere. Buy a Focusrite instead.
MAUDIO DUO
VERY ADEQUATE FOR ITS PRICE.
CON: NO UPDATES FOR WINDOWS 11.
WORKS WELL WITH MY OUTDATED CAKEWALK -SONAR SOFTWARE.
It works-until it doesn’t!
Had it for about 3 months and every day up until today it's worked fine! All of a sudden I'm hit with odd alien noises that would make Ed O'Brien jealous and red lights on the interface.
Works great
Looks clean, simple, well built and works. Very very good for the price point, I do recommend to anyone that needs an audio interface to get this instead of something 2x the price such as the Focusrite; this does the exact same thing.
M-AUDIO IS VERY GOOD!!
Fantastic sound no distorsion or cracks.Very happy.Thank you.
I fits well a voice and guitar project
M-Track Due fits very well my voice and guitar projects. It is easy to control; I had no undesirable noise in my recordings. The price is reasonable. I recommend this interface to those who record podcasts and simple projects.
DOWNLOAD THE DRIVERS FIRST!!
As the title states, DOWNLOAD THE DRIVERS FIRST. Don't plug it into your computer without having downloaded and installed the drivers from M-Audio's website. Once this is done, the plug and play part is fairly easy. I didn't bother with the software. I already have a sub for the standard Pro Tools. This is a huge upgrade from my M-Audio Fast Track that I got back in high school in the early/mid 2000's. I used the FastTrack to do quick arrangements for my band and the Duo will help me by adding a second channel to connect both my synths for even faster workflow. It's perfect for what I need and it arrived way quicker than I had anticipated.
Bang for buck!
Plenty of headroom, clean sound.
Great price, iffy drivers
Got mine yesterday. Drivers are a little iffy (lost sound to headphones a couple of times, had to unplug USB, or reinstall the drivers), and headphone amp isn't very powerful (compared to my Motu M2, which I LOVE). But otherwise seems like a pretty solid unit. I'm sure the driver issue will get resolved shortly, so not too concerned about that. Seemed to lose connectivity if I switched between my DAW and basic Windows functions (Windows media player would say it can't play a file, or it would say the Duo was connected and selected as primary sound device, but sound would come out of my laptop speakers???). I still think it's worth picking one up, and just deal with the quirks until the drivers improve. For $69, it's a good buy.
