I got nicely surprised by the quality of build. It's not a toy or flimsy, it feels sturdy and well built.

I've used this for several years for basic note entry in Finale and Dorico and it's been really great. I love that it is portable. The only downside is that the cable has worn out on me twice now, and you have to have an M-Audio USB mini cable in order for it to function.

The Key station mini is great. It does exactly what I need it to do as a vocal coach.

An awesome little keyboard just to have around when needed. I also really like 32 keys on this small unit compared to only 25 on most other small controllers. Well built little unit with a nice feel for its' size and priced right. It's great to have around when inspiration hits and you're not around your full sized instruments. Very pleased with this purchase and as always Sweetwater is THE BEST!

I bought this for my nephew and he's loving it. The only draw back is it doesn't come with power adaptor.

This keyboard is the first MIDI device I have purchased, and I think it is a good keyboard to start using MIDI devices. The plug and play nature of the keyboard is very nice and hassle-free. I have been able to use it on both Windows and Apple based devices without any issues. I like the handful of extra keys this one has compared to other devices of similar size. I would recommend this keyboard to anyone who needs a MIDI device for music production.

I am writing today to review a great product which has helped me bring him glory and honor and praise.
I have an ipad and I run this keyboard into Garageband via the Lightning to USB 3 addaptor I purchased from Apple.
The pressurized keys are great and highly beneficial. They help in being able to express ones musical desires. The size of the keyboard is nice as well, small enough to put in a backpack, large enough to comfortably play in a small space.
I hear the app isn't that bad. I can not confirm and or deny this because I wasn't able to find it.
The cable running from and to the keyboard is on the shorter side which is fine for me being as I am just running into my ipad without any other wires. The construction of the cable feels sturdy enough as does the keyboard itself.

My big gripe with it is I can't set the pitch buttons to move the pitch slower then what it is by default. I'm sure there's a way of doing this but, being as I can't see the screen which is no fault of the keyboard by the way, then I can't see what happens when edit is pressed.
A huge thanks goes out to the Sweetwater team for taking care of me and getting this shipped. USPS is very slow though which is my only shipping gripe.

Great quality and well built design. Definitely worth the money if you are looking for a good Midi Controller

This unit worked fine for a few months. Then, it would start to occasionally disconnect. Now, I've had it for about a year and I think it has peaced out forever. Will no longer disconnect.

I enjoyed using this keyboard while it lasted but I went to plug in the USB cable the other day and the connector broke off of the circuit board. I tried to reattach but it it is very small and the workspace is tight so could not.

This unit was fine when I first bought it. Not amazing action but that is to be expected at this price point! After a few weeks though the midi cable started to rattle around in the keyboard and wouldn't stay plugged in securely. And now when I plug this into my DAW it only works for a few notes then it disconnects. I am very disappointed.

Sweetwater is great though! Love their great customer service.

The USB port sticks out of the side so it gets loose and eventually breaks.

I got this for my IB music class and so far i've loved it. I use it outside of class and it helps me hear notes and compose music, i highly recommended it!

This midi controller is one of the best compact controllers I've ever worked with. It's so versatile and has definitely helped in creating sounds I've needed for my projects. Though the sustain and modular both can be a bit of pain to hold down while you're playing a piece it still works great. Trying to map out beats and program drums is a bit of a challenge as well. Overall I'm very satisfied with this purchase and for that price it was a no brainer!

I'm not a huge bigtime producer (except in my own mind) so I don't a ton of higher end equipment for my music. This mini controller is perfect... not too much going on.. all i really like/need is a pitchbend and this controller suffices all my needs. perfect connection no negative latency issues. Definitely recommend.

It should've lasted longer than a few weeks under normal use. BUT, the USB connector came loose and is rattling around inside the keyboard. Absolutely USELESS if you can't connect your USB cord to the instrument. It was working OK up to that point, now it' junk. I will have to either send it back or just give up the case and lose $59. I don't really want another if its that bad. I won't buy an M-Audio product again due to this. You think they could've at least built one with a board inside that has a firm USB port attached. It obviously is flimsy or just glued inside! How were we to know they made it so cheap--I would've put my money to a better keyboard.

I was required to buy this for my Intro to Digital Musicianship class, but now I am so grateful I bought this from Sweetwater and not Amazon!

This is a reasonably priced MIDI keyboard that gets the job done.

When buying this keyboard, I knew I could not expect amazing quality, and that was fine. I bought it so I could have a small, portable keyboard to use on my DAW and my notation software. It does indeed work well and get the job done.

Is it super durable? Probably not, but I am not planning on throwing it on the floor or anything. I think it should hold up well for my purposes. The keys are small and clicky, but again--they serve their purpose.

I like how you can change the octave with the click of a button. I also like how thin the unit is; it makes it very portable. I think the number of keys is just right--not too many to make it cumbersome, not too few to make it unusable.

Overall, I would probably buy this product again. It functions well and is just what I was looking for. I would recommend it to anyone on a budget looking for a small MIDI keyboard.

It is perfect if you have a small music work space or if you are on the move musically. I went from a 25 key midi controller to this 32 key midi controller and I absolutely love it!

I bought the Mini 32 to support late night composition sessions and mix fixes in bed, and it works just fine for, e.g., entering an EDM bass line or beefing up a recorded kick track with a sample. The action is predictably-meh (I'm a pianist of 40 years and have yet to find any synth action keyboard particularly-compelling), but the velocity sensitivity is reasonable and having dedicated hardware buttons for the octave transposition is something I appreciate. I will say that it's a little slow to return from a keypress, which is not something I've run into before, but that hasn't reduced its utility. I haven't played with anything beyond the default layout yet, but for my purposes it's good value for the money.

This will be a Christmas present for my son, so I cannot rate the product just yet. However, the customer service and follow-up at Sweetwater has been first rate! I would shop here again, just based on that.

I ordered this to use with my ProTools intro class because it required a midi keyboard do use for the software instrument tracking in the software. I love it.

I just wanted to try a keyboard and wanted to start off small, but the is really good. I didn't want anything too complicated and this was a good choice for me.This midi controller is the perfect size to be creative while out and about composing thoughts into complete compositions. This keyboard is very cool. It's very comfortable for, it is also very sturdy and do just what it is supposed to do.

It started out as a pretty decent midi keyboard, this being my first, however the USB mini B connector snapped off inside and got lost somewhere in there. It's been less than a year so I'll try to warranty it.
