Nektar has unveiled their latest USB MIDI controller keyboards, the Impact LX+ series. The new keyboards are based on the original Impact LX49 and LX 61, but expand the offering with DAW integration comprising more features for supported DAWs and a more transparent workflow.
There are two new models, the Impact LX49+ and the Impact LX61+, with 49 and 61 full-size, velocity-sensitive keys respectively. Four velocity curves are available for customizing key response. Each keyboard also inlcudes nine 30mm faders, nine MIDI buttons, and eight rotary encoders. With Nektar DAW integration, these controls are pre-mapped for supported DAWs. Also included are eight touch sensitive drum pads with 4-color LED illumination and four pad maps, pitch bend and mod wheels, octave and transpose buttons, transport controls, footswitch jack, and much more. A full version of Bitwig 8-Track is included so you can get right to work making music.
The LX49+ and LX61+ support Mac OS X, Windows, Linux, and iOS. (An optional camera connection kit is required for iOS use.)
