Neumann has announced two active subwoofers for use with the company’s very cool KH 120 2-way active monitors or with any monitoring system. The KH 810 is designed to serve as the centerpiece of a monitor rig; it includes 7.1 high-definition bass management, and it integrates well with the KH 120. It can be used to extend low-frequency response or it can serve as a dedicated LFE (low frequency effects) monitor. The KH 910 features a 200-watt amplifier and a 10-inch shielded driver.
The KH 870 ups the ante with dual 10-inch drivers, magnetic shielding, and 400 watts of power.
