127th AES Convention: Focal CMS SUB

The days of mixing without a subwoofer are over, and most engineers today are always on the look out for the perfect balance between enough bass to matter, and too much bass for the control room. Focal’s newly announced active subwoofer – the CMS SUB – is designed to address this very problem by providing a tight highly detailed low frequency driver intended to integrate smoothly with midfield monitors like their CMS 50 and CMS 65 models.

Focal CMS SUB Active 11″ Studio Subwoofer Features:

300W BASH amplifier
Front laminar port for consistency at low levels
Frequency response from 30 to 150Hz.
