XILS-lab Software Activation Instructions
IMPORTANT! XILS-lab software is authorized by either iLok or eLicenser. eLicenser requires its eLicenser USB dongle, but iLok has a local computer activation option (iLok USB dongle optional).
In this guide, we will show you how to register and install XILS-lab software. Follow each of the sections below to get started.
Register and activate
You have to register with XILS-lab in order to access your software. Complete their registration page and select your authorization method: iLok or eLicenser. While eLicenser authorization requires an eLicenser USB dongle to carry the license, iLok allows you the option to use either computer licensing or the iLok USB dongle.
- Sign in to your Plugivery Manager account. If you don’t have an account yet, you can create one here.
- Go to the Plugivery software redemption page, then copy and paste the redemption code you received from your Sweetwater Sales Engineer.
- Fill out the necessary information to complete the registration process.

Download and install
Once your software is authorized, all that’s left to do is download and install it. Find your software download on its XILS-lab product page, install it, and then launch your favorite DAW.
- Make sure you are logged in to your XILS-lab account.
- Go to the XILS-lab product pages and find your software.
- Click the green downloads button (below Buy Now) and then select the installer for your operating system to start the download.
- Open your Downloads folder and run the installer:
- PC: Double-click the .exe installer file and follow the on-screen instructions.
- Mac: Double-click the .dmg file. In the window that appears, double-click the .pkg file and follow the on-screen instructions.

If you do not, interest will be charged on the promo balance from the purchase date. The estimated required monthly payment shown which excludes taxes and delivery equals the amount financed divided by the number of months in the promo period, rounded up to the next cent. During the last month(s) of the promo period the required monthly payment may be reduced due to this rounding. These payments apply only with the financing offer shown. If you make these payments by the due date each month, you should pay off this amount financed within the promo period, if it is the only balance you are paying off. If you have other balances on your account, this payment will be added to any other minimum monthly payments.
