When using Waves plug-ins in Pro Tools on Windows, I get an error that says “Access violation occurred, unable to write location: xxxxxxxx.”
This is a known issue with Waves 9.x software and Pro Tools systems on Windows using an Intel graphics card. To fix this, you will need to update the video driver.
We recommend using Intel’s driver update utility which will automatically detect the correct driver update for your system.
