Waldorf Software Activation Instructions
In this guide, we will show you how to activate, download, and install your new Waldorf software plug-in. Follow the sections below to get started.
Register the plug-in
The first step in the activation process is to register and download the software with Waldorf. You’ll need to create an account with Waldorf and use the coupon code(s) provided by your Sweetwater Sales Engineer.
- Log into your Waldorf account. If you don’t have an account, you can create one on the same page.
- Go to the Waldorf software product page, select your plug-in then add it to your cart.
- Go to the checkout page, then under Have A Promotional Code?, copy and paste the code you received from your Sales Engineer, then click PROCEED TO CHECKOUT.
- Fill out the necessary information on the next page, then click PLACE ORDER.
Click the image to log into your Waldorf account.
Download and activate the plug-in
IMPORTANT! You must manually entering in the license key. Copy and pasting the license key will not work.
After you have registered the plug-in to your Waldorf account, the next step is to download and install your software.
- Go to the “License Keys” section of your Waldorf account, locate the software you just activated, and select the latest download for your OS.
- Navigate to your Downloads folder, locate, extract, then launch the installer.
- Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the process.
- Launch your DAW, and load the software onto an instrument track.
- Enter your Waldorf account email, as well as the the license key located on the License Key section of your Waldorf account.
- Reload the plug-in to complete the activation process.

The estimated required monthly payment shown which excludes taxes and delivery equals the amount financed divided by the number of months in the promo period, rounded up to the next cent. During the last month(s) of the promo period the required monthly payment may be reduced due to this rounding. These payments apply only with the financing offer shown. If you make these payments by the due date each month, you should pay off this amount financed within the promo period, if it is the only balance you are paying off. If you have other balances on your account, this payment will be added to any other minimum monthly payments.
