Strymon Software Activation Instructions

In this guide, we will show you how to activate, download, and install your new Strymon plug-in. Follow the instructions below to get started.

1. Enter Redemption Code

4. Download and Install Strymon Plug-ins

Enter Redemption Code

The first step in the activation process is to redeem code with Strymon using the redemption code you received from your Sweetwater Sales Engineer.

1. Go to your Strymon software product page and click HAVE CODE? REDEEM HERE.
   • Strymon BigSky plug-in
   • Strymon Deco Tape plug-in
2. Copy and paste the Redemption Code you received from your Sweetwater Sales Engineer, then click Redeem.
3. On the next page, fill out the necessary information, then click Register.
   • If you’re a returning Strymon customer, select Click here to log in.
4. Strymon will then send you an email that includes an iLok activation code. If the email doesn’t appear within five minutes, be sure to check your spam folder!
   • You can access the iLok activation code at any time in the Orders section of your Strymon account page.

Create an iLok Account

Strymon plug-in software is licensed with iLok. To use it, you will need to connect its iLok license to your computer. If you don’t already have an iLok account, you’ll need to create one and install the iLok License Manager app.

If you already have an iLok account, pass these steps and continue to Activate iLok License. Learn more about iLok Licensing in our iLok Setup Guide.

1. Visit iLok’s registration page and complete the registration form. Take note of your User ID and password, as they are case-sensitive.
2. Open the iLok Account Activation email and click the verification link.
3. Download and install iLok License Manager.
4. Launch the iLok License Manager app and sign in to your iLok account.
   • (optional) Connect an iLok and when prompted, click Yes to register it to your account.

Activate iLok License

The next step you’ll need to do is redeem the Strymon activation code. You will need to sign in to your iLok account and use the activation code you received from your Sweetwater Sales Engineer to complete the process.

1. Launch the iLok License Manager app and sign in to your account.
2. Click Licenses and then select Redeem Activation Code. Alternatively click the “…I” button next to the search bar to view the activation prompt.
3. Enter the activation code you received from your Sweetwater Sales Engineer, then click Next.
4. Click the Available tab, and then drag and drop the license onto the computer icon.

Download and Install Strymon Plug-ins

The final step in the activation process is to download and install your Strymon plug-in software from the redemption email Strymon sent when first redeeming the plug-in.

1. Go back to the initial email Strymon sent, click the included link, and select the installer for your plug-in.
2. Navigate to your Downloads folder, then locate and launch the installer.
3. Launch your DAW, create an audio track, then add the plug-in!
