Why do my Sony Media programs play out of my computer speakers instead of my audio interface?

You probably have the wrong audio device chosen in the software. In ACID and Vegas, go to Options > preferences > Audio Device, and under “Audio device type,” choose the interface you would like to use for recording and playback. In Sound Forge, go to Options > Preferences > Audio, and under “Audio device type,” choose the interface. In CD Architect, go to Options > Preferences > Preview, and make your selection under “Audio device type.” You may also need to specif the device further under “Default audio playback device.” DVD Architect will use the audio device you have selected in Windows’ Sounds and Audio Devices Control Panel.
