Roland JV-90 Changing the Performance via MIDI
To select Performances on the JV-80/90/880/1000 via MIDI, you will need to send
a program change message on the Control Channel. The default value for the
Control Channel is 16. It is a good idea to set your Control Channel to a
different MIDI channel than any of your Parts in the Performance you are using.
Otherwise, you may unintentionally select a new Performance while attempting to
select Patches within that Performance.
Use the following procedure to set the Control Channel:
1) Press PERFORMANCE.
2) Press MIDI.
3) CURSOR to “Ctrl-Ch.” and use the INC/DEC buttons to select 1-16 or OFF.
