How do I remove the old driver for my 828 in OSX?
REMOVING THE MOTU FIREWIRE DRIVER
If you need to remove the driver for some reason, use this
procedure:
1 IMPORTANT: switch off your MOTU FireWire audio interface
before proceeding. Otherwise, the installer will not be able to
remove the driver because it is in use by the Mac OS X kernel.
2 Double-click the installer.
3 Enter your password at the installer prompt.
4 Choose Uninstall from the Installer window drop-down list.
5 Follow the instructions that you see on-screen
