My TC-Helicon Ditto Mic Looper is doing things on its own.

This can happen if you are using a condenser microphone but you also have Mic Control enabled on your Ditto Mic Looper. You should only have Mic Control on if you are using a microphone with Mic Control features.

To turn off Mic Control, hold the LOOP footswitch while powering on the Ditto Mic. The LED will blink a couple of times to verify.
