My DAW freezes when I try to load Komplete Kontrol.
When loading KOMPLETE KONTROL for the first time within your host sequencer, you might experience a freeze. This is due to KOMPLETE KONTROL building its database in the background.
In order to solve this issue, please run KOMPLETE KONTROL as stand-alone application before using it as a plug-in within your host sequencer. This is necessary for KOMPLETE KONTROL to build its database and complete its installation process.
By default, the KOMPLETE KONTROL stand-alone applications is located here on your computer:
- MAC: Mac OS X > Applications > Native Instruments > Komplete Kontrol > Komplete Kontrol.app
- WIN: C: > Programs > Native Instruments > Komplete Kontrol > Komplete Kontrol.exe
