I’m trying to move .svq sequence files from my Roland XP-series keyboard to my new FantomX by transferring them to the PC card. The files show up in the FantomX, but I’m not able to load them into the FantomX.
Assuming you’re using a computer to transfer the XP keyboard’s .svq files to a PC card, it’s important to place the files in the correct folder. You should be able to double-click the icon for the PC card on your computer’s desktop to open it. In order for a sequence file to load correctly into the FantomX, the files need to go in the ROLAND>SEQ folder.
In one case, when transferring the .svq files to the PC Card (via computer), a FantomX user had dropped the files directly onto the PC Card’s icon, rather than opening the PC card. This copied the files to the PC card, but wouldn’t load properly when transferred to the FantomX.
