MOTU Issue: Console software for MTP I, II and MTP-AV serial, (Micro)Express (XT) on a USB Mac (G3 or G4)
Q: Hey, I have an old Midi Time Piece I, MTP II or an MTP-AV (serial), or an Express, XT or Micro Express and I’ll be getting a Keyspan USB/serial adapter, a Megawolf Romulus/Remus card, a G3 stealth or a Griffin Technologies Gport so can plug it into my USB G3 or G4. I also have the old MTP software console (vers 1.X or 2.X). Do I need a software upgrade to use my interface on this Mac?
A: Yes, you need FreeMIDI 1.43 and Clockworks 1.07.Clockworks is an updated console that works with all MTP and Express devices.
