More On Transferring KRZ Files From A Macintosh
We mentioned on inSync 10/9 that it was possible to download Kurzweil K2000/K2500 files to a Mac and copy them to a DOS formatted floppy disk (which can be read by Kurzweils). inSync reader C.K.H. sends us the following: “I’d like to clarify that a Mac user needs to have PC Exchange, AccesPC, or similar software to let them access DOS formatted disks. The Mac hardware since the Mac II can access the floppies, but without the software piece that PC Exchange provides the Mac can’t do anything with it.PC Exchange has shipped with Mac OS since System 7.5, so almost everyone has it, just be sure you have it turned on.” Thanks C.K!
