In Kontakt , can I offset one sample by velocity ie. I have 3 multi samples, each spanning 61 keys. Each of these sets of multisamples are assigned their own group. When I hit the key, I want one of the sounds, say A, to be audible immediately. The others I want to be delayed a little before sounding.
There is no way to delay the note-on event. You can add to the to-be-delayed-playing sound an envelope to control the volume of it (so this sound must have its own group). Modulate the attack time by velocity. The other sounds as parts of another group can have their own envelope. Use “curve” to make the sound fade in more or less quickly while attack time
