How do I install my 828 in OS X
INSTALLING THE FIREWIRE DRIVER
1 Your MOTU FireWire audio interface should be connected but
powered off.
2 Double-click the MOTU FireWire Mac OS X Installer.
3 As usual, enter your OS X administrator password when
prompted.
4 Continue and follow on-screen install instructions.
5 After installation, switch on the MOTU FireWire audio
interface.
The installer places the MOTU FireWire audio driver (kernel
extension (.kext file) into the extensions directory:
/System/Library/Extensions/MOTUFireWireAudio.kext
The installer also places the MOTU Firewire Audio Console into
the Applications folder of the startup disk.
