TONEX Tone Model, Stomp, and Preset Structure

A Tone Model is an IR (impulse response) capture of a real guitar- or bass amplifier and speaker cabinet rig.

A Tone Model can also include a stomp. A stomp is an IR made from one or more real guitar effects pedals such as boost, overdrive, fuzz, distortion, EQ, or preamplifier pedals. Stomps do not reproduce time-based effects such as delay, chorus, or flanger.

With the latest firmware update installed, a preset can consist of the following, which you can program in the TONEX Editor app:

  • Noise gate
  • Compressor
  • Modulation
  • Tone Model
  • Tone EQ
  • Delay
  • Reverb
