To use the audio passThru feature on a Mac, you’ll need to set up an aggregate device. Here’s how:
- Go to Applications > Utilities.
- Launch Audio MIDI Setup.
- Click on the Window menu and open Audio Devices if it is not already open.
- Click the + button located in the bottom left corner of the window.
- An Aggregate Device will appear. Double click it to change the name to whatever you like.
- When you select the aggregate device, you’ll notice several options appear with check boxes next to them. Mark the boxes next to the devices you want to use with you DAW. Make sure to check the box for the iConnectMIDI2 in order to use the audio passThru feature.
- Now you can launch your DAW and set your interface to the aggregate device you just created.
