How do I uninstall PLAY libraries from my PC?
- Go to the Control Panel from the ‘Start’ menu.
- In Windows XP, look for the ‘Add/Remove Programs’ control panel feature, in Vista simply look for ‘Programs’ in the control panel.
- Simply select the PLAY Products you want to uninstall and select ‘Remove’ or ‘Uninstall’.
ADVANCED INSTRUCTIONS: To completely remove all PLAY components from your PC, please delete the following.
Windows XP
- C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data**\East West
- C:\Program Files\EastWest\
- C:\Program Files\Common Files\East West\Vstplugins (default vst location selected by installer)
- C:\Program Files\Common Files\Digidesign\DAE\Plug-Ins\ -> play_rtas.dpm and play_rtas.dpm.rsr
Windows Vista & Windows 7
- C:\Program Data** \All Users\Application Data*\East West
- C:\Program Files\EastWest\
- C:\Program Files\Common Files\East West\Vstplugins (default vst location selected by installer)
- C:\Program Files\Common Files\Digidesign\DAE\Plug-Ins\ -> play_rtas.dpm and play_rtas.dpm.rsr
** These are hidden folders, you must set windows to view hidden folders.
PLEASE NOTE: Uninstalling your PLAY product this way does not remove the ‘sample library’ portion of the product, that you will have to drag to the recycle bin manually
