I’m using Cubase 4 and my recorded MIDI tracks eventually get out of sync with my audio, why?
This is due to the MIDI information in Cubase not syncronizing with the operating system. It can easily be fixed by doing the following:
1. In Cubase, go to Devices > Device Setup> MIDI Port Setup.
2. In the MIDI Port Window, check the box next to “Use System Timestamp for ‘Windows MIDI’ Inputs.”
3. Hit Apply and close out this window.
