Getting clicks in the audio at region boundries on a Sony DTC A7 portable DAT. Doesn’t happen with other DAT machines. Doesn’t happen via the analog outputs either.
This DAT machine does not have true S/PDIF ports. The device uses a cable adapter which bridges between the RCA S/PDIF cable to a 9 pin optical interface on the DAT machine. This cable also converts optical signals to 9 pin. The clicks are a result of an interupted sample rate clock.
