Can my iPad power my Avid Fast Track Solo/Duo?
Avid’s Fast Track Solo and Fast Track Duo have dedicated iPad ports to connect directly to your iPad. However, the iPad will not power either device. You’ll need to power the Fast Track with a USB power source.
If you’re using the Fast Track with a Mac or PC, bus power will work just fine and no other power supply will be required.
