BFD Software Activation Instructions

Getting Started

In this guide, we will show you how to activate and access your BFD software licensed with inMusic Software Center. To continue, follow the sections below.  

1. BFD Account 
   • Log in to Current inMusic Profile
   • Create New inMusic Profile
2. inMusic Software Center
   • Download and Install inMusic Software Center
3. Plugivery Account
   • Log in to Current Plugivery Account
   • Create New Plugivery Account
4. Redeem Code and Serial Number
   • Register Redeem Code
   • Activate Serial Number
5. Download and Install
   • Download and Install BFD Software

BFD Account

BFD software requires an inMusic Profile. If you already have an inMusic Profile and want to register your new software to that account, please verify the username and log in before proceeding. Most users will only have one account, but in some cases, you may choose to create another account to distinguish different locations, users, etc. 

IMPORTANT! Do not create multiple inMusic Profiles if you only need one. Instead, try accessing the account using your current login. If necessary, try resetting your password or recovering your account login.    

Log in to Current inMusic Profile

1. Go to the inMusic Profile page.  
2. Enter your current login and click Sign In.  
3. Verify that your current products are registered to the current account. 

Create New inMusic Profile

1. Go to the inMusic Profile page. 
2. Click Create Account.  
3. Complete the form and click Create account. 
4. Sign in using your new login to verify your account.

InMusic Software Center

BFD software is downloaded from the inMusic Software Center app. Many virtual instruments require storage space allocation for their large sound library files. To maximize your computer’s internal storage capacity and general performance, configure the download and install location for sound libraries to external storage.  

Download and Install inMusic Software Center

1. Go to the inMusic Software Center page.  
2. Click the download button that is compatible with your computer.  
3. Open your Downloads folder and run the installer. 
   • PC: Double-click the .exe file and follow the on-screen instructions. 
   • Mac: Double-click the .zip file to open it. In the new folder, drag and drop the app to the Applications folder.

Plugivery Account

BFD software also requires a Plugivery account. If you already have a Plugivery account and want to register your new software to that account, please verify the username and log in before proceeding. Most users will only have one account, but in some cases, you may choose to create another account to distinguish different locations, users, etc. 

IMPORTANT! Do not create multiple Plugivery accounts if you only need one. Instead, try accessing the account using your current login. If necessary, try resetting your password or recovering your account login.     

Log in to Current Plugivery Account

1. Go to the My Plugivery Manager page and click Connect.  
2. Enter your current login and click Sign-in to My Plugivery Manager.  
3. Verify that your current products are registered to the current account. 

Create New Plugivery Account

1. Go to the My Plugivery Manager page and click Connect.   
2. Click Create My Account.   
3. Complete the form and click Create My Account. 
4. Sign in using your new login to verify your account.

Redeem Code and Serial Number

Sweetwater has emailed you the Redeem Code for your software. Open the email, find the Redeem Code, and follow the steps below to redeem it with Plugivery. Once that’s done, you will receive a serial number, which you can activate in the inMusic Software Center app. 

Register Redeem Code  

1. Go to the My Plugivery Manager page and click Connect.  
2. Enter your current login and click Sign-in to My Plugivery Manager. 
3. Go to the Redeem Code page.  
4. Enter your Redeem Code and click Next Step.  
5. Complete the form and click Proceed. 
   • Your serial number will be delivered to the registered email address.  

Activate Serial Number

1. Open the inMusic Software Center app.  
2. Log in with your inMusic Profile. 
3. Click Add Product and select Software.  
4. Enter your serial number and click Add.

Download and Install

BFD software is managed from the inMusic Software Center app. From there, you can enter the serial number to activate your software. Once that’s completed, the software is officially added to your inMusic Profile and can be downloaded and installed from inMusic Software Center.  

IMPORTANT! Go to the BFD Support page for additional instructions on installing and managing your BFD libraries.  

Download and Install Software 

1. Open the inMusic Software Center app.  
2. Log in with your inMusic Profile. 
3. Click your product’s download button. 
4. Click your product’s install button.
