Mixwave Ashdown Software Activation Instructions

In this guide, we will show you how to activate, download, and install your new Mixwave Ashdown software follow the sections below to get started.

Create iLok Account

MixWave software is licensed with an iLok. To use it, you will need to connect its iLok license to your computer via an iLok USB dongle. If you don’t already have an iLok account, you’ll need to create one and install the iLok License Manager app. Follow the steps below to get started.

If you already have an account, pass these steps, and continue to download and install. Check out our iLok Quickstart Guide for more information.

1. Visit iLok’s registration page and complete the registration form. 
   • Please take note of your User ID and password, as they are case-sensitive.
2. Open the iLok Account Activation email and click on the verification link.
3. Download and install iLok License Manager.
4. Launch the iLok License Manager app and sign in to your account.
   • (Optional) Connect an iLok and click Yes to register the dongle to your account when prompted.

Register Redemption Code

IMPORTANT: You will only use the redemption code you received from your Sweetwater Sales Engineer for this step. MixWave will generate an iLok activation code for you to activate the software.

After you have created an iLok account, the next step is to register the redemption code you received.

1. Go to the MixWave Ashdown redemption page, copy and paste the redemption code you received from your Sweetwater Sales Engineer, and then click Continue. This will take you to the MixWave Ashdown product page.
2. Click Buy Now, fill out the required information, copy and paste the same redemption code you received from your Sweetwater Sales Engineer, and then click Complete Order.
3. MixWave will then send you a confirmation email with instructions.

Download and Install

After entering your Sweetwater redemption code, the MixWave Ashdown software will be deposited into your MixWave account.

1. Log into your MixWave account. If you don’t have one, you can create it here.
2. Locate the Ashdown plug-in and click your OS to download the latest version of the plug-in for your OS.
3. Navigate to your Downloads folder, locate and launch the installer. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation process.

Activate iLok Activation Code

Once you’ve entered your Sweetwater redemption code, the last step is to activate and download your MixWave Ashdown plug-in.

1. Open the email you received from MixWave and click View your order. You will be taken to an order confirmation page.
2. Enter your iLok user ID, click Verified, then click Submit.
3. Launch and sign into iLok License Manager.
4. Navigate to Licenses, then click Redeem Activation Code. Alternatively, click the …i located to the right of the search bar.
5. Locate the MixWave Ashdown plug-in license and drag the license to the computer icon.

Click Licenses then choose Redeem Activation Code to activate your MixWave plug-in.
